The service

Spins lets you keep a diary of the albums you listen to: rate them, write reviews and follow other members. It is provided by Ethan Gunn free of charge, as is, and may change or close at any time. Reasonable notice will be given before closing, and you can download your data at any time from Settings.

Your account

• Membership is by invitation. You need a valid invite code to register, and you may not share your code publicly.
• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything posted from your account.
• One person, one account. Do not impersonate other people or artists.
• You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms.

Your content

Ratings, reviews and profile text you post remain yours. You give Spins a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display and make them available to the public as part of the service, for as long as they remain on the site. Deleting a review or your account ends that licence, except for copies in backups, which are overwritten within 30 days.

Do not post content that:

• is unlawful, defamatory, threatening, harassing, or incites hatred against people on the basis of who they are;
• infringes someone else's copyright or other rights, for example by pasting in full lyrics or other people's reviews;
• contains other people's personal data without their consent;
• is spam, advertising, or automated bulk activity;
• attempts to disrupt the service, probe its security, or scrape it at scale.

We may remove content that we reasonably believe breaks these rules or the law.

Reporting content

If you believe something on Spins is illegal or breaks these terms, contact Ethan Gunn directly through the channel you received your invitation from with a link to the content and a short explanation. Reports are acknowledged and you will be told what was decided. If your own content is removed, you will be told why and may contest the decision through the same channel.

Album data

Album titles, artwork, tracklists and artist information are provided by Spotify and remain the property of Spotify and the respective rights holders. Spins is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify. The data is shown for identification only; you may not extract it from this site in bulk.

Liability

The service is provided without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, Ethan Gunn is not liable for loss of data or for content posted by members. Nothing here limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes may be brought before the courts of Denmark or, if you are a consumer, of the EU country where you live.
